I often ask myself how many times will I write about highlighters and how to achieve radiant skin. But truth is, everyone is obsessed with luminous skin - me included! Logically, we should be treating our skin differently during the colder months than we do during summer, so why don't we?
Let's rethink the way we do our makeup, and focus on moisture and hydration! We all know exfoliating and moisturizing is crucial for an exquisite glow but makeup helps too. To preserve moisture, switch from powder products to liquids, creams, sticks and balms. In general, I use a lot less powder during winter (mainly because I don't need to mattify, but I also LOVE a slightly oily look). It's not only about the shimmer, true radiance comes from healthy, moisturized skin, that's why using a balm (or even 1 drop of face oil) is an amazing option because it also nourishes and treats your skin against dryness. So many products are available to us in so many different formulas and textures, it's only a question of exploring new options and picking what is best for our skin.
