CHLOE WILDE
CHLOE WILDE
Damn right healthy is hot!
We had the chance to shoot the beautiful Chloe Wilde for a fitness inspired editorial, published in DTK Magazine. For this shoot, I had a few ideas in mind but ultimately, I wanted Chloe to feel like herself. After a quick brainstorming session, we decided a smoky eye was the best option because that's what she's most used to wearing. I wanted the look to be fresh, light, and glowy to contrast the intense eye. Here's how I created her bronzed, smoldering smoky eye look.

Luminous, natural-looking skin is very important to me! To keep the complexion looking fresh, always start by applying a moisturizer on clean skin. I love using products like the Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Wake Up Balm, because it creates an instant glow. The Chanel foundation I used is a radiance-generating lightweight cream that perfects complexions by adding moisture, radiance and vitality. I added a few drops of Marc Jacobs' liquid highlighter to the foundation to enhance the luminosity. I always conceal where it's needed and then blend a sheer layer of foundation into the skin, to ensure a beautiful canvas.

I defined Chloe's cheeks with Nars' Contour Blush, and bronzed the high points of her face to enhance her sun-kissed glow. To complete her healthy-looking skin, the blush and highlight are a must. I applied the blush on the apples of the cheeks, blending it back into the bronzer. The highlight was strategically placed over the arches of the brows, on the bridge of the nose, cupid's bow, inner corners of the eyes, and of course, on the highest point of her cheekbones.

Once the skin perfected, we move on to the brows. I filled in Chloe's brows by creating hair-like strokes with Dior's Brow Styler and set them in place with a little hairspray on a brow brush (also known as a mascara wand or a spoolie).
For the eyes, I started by applying Tom Ford's Cream Color For Eyes as a base on the lid and the lower lash line. Then I chose a rich medium brown and blended it outward by following the natural shape of her eyes. To add more definition, I outlined the lower and upper lash line with a dark brown shade while making sure there are no harsh edges. Last but not least, a few coats of mascara and individual lashes were applied to open up her eyes.
